Ok now I have Foxbot running Its Great But.........<sigh>
I have created a server (listen) and the gam has started and the bots begin to join. Theres 9 BOTS and me PLUS 10 slots still ready to fill.
I ask my freind to join, he clicks my name on the friends list and selects JOIN GAME. Another window pops up and gives details of the server but it always just says SERVER not responding. Although im in it playing it. He cant Join
I have the normal Windows firewall and have allowed TF, STEAM etc etc and have BLUEYONDERS PC GAURD. This has also allowed its to go through? Whats wrong why cant anyone see my game i.e my pal??

BLUEYONDERS PC GAURD, i have no idea how that works. That could be somehow blocking you?
Don't use the freinds list to try & join server! Junk.. I tried that just the other day to connect to my friends listenserver & it couldn't connect. Have your friend goto the Steam Games Menu & create a shortcut to desktop & then put this in the shortcut +connect yourip:27015 Example:
Ok, windows firewall as long as you've allowed it, then there's no problem there. Do you have a router? If you have a router you need to foward port 27015-27015 UDP I read alot of places & see people open all kinds of ports. Un-needed. I run a dedicated server & only forward that & people join just fine, plus it lists in the master server list. As long as nothing is blocking you what you do is start your listenserver, then once it's running open the console & type sv_lan 0 Once you type that it opens it to the public. If your friend still can't join, then something on your system is blocking them. You'll have to try & find that. That's probably about all i can help you with on this?? Here's some places to look that maybe can solve your problem: www.hlds101.com/hlds101/index.htmsupport.steampowered.com/cgi-bin/steampowered.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php

Hi There.
Thanks for the reply again.
Its my wireless router thats bee ncausing the problems. I plugged my modem directly into my pc and the servers are visible and can be joined.
Wireless router a total pain in the ass just couldnt get it to allow connections. To confusing to sort and not much help from the people who made it so sod it.
