Ok, 1st thing you want is the current version of Foxbot, (Foxbot v. 0.77) so i can hopefully better help you. I can no longer use the old half-life setup on windows 7. Which really stinks because it leaves all my old games like frontline force and whatnot dead now. So i downloaded the installer www.omni-bot.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=39 There's a download button to the top right. 1st thing it say's: NOTE: You should install to the directory before the main \tfc\ directory. For example if, your Half-Life TFC directory looks like this: C:\Sierra\Half_life\tfc Then you should install to: C:\Sierra\Half_life It will also install metamod. I don't think you'll need to know anything about that? But if you do there's a pretty good help manual that comes with the bot that will cover that. 2) I click next.. ((LOL just agree to License)).. 3) This part is directory selection. Mine is set for steam even though i have to doctor it corectly for the bot to install correctly, it's just giving me the were abouts that i need to install to. Your's might give you the correct directory?? Which for you is: C:\Sierra\Half_life4) After hitting to install your ready to play agianst bots! They play all default maps. Try it out see if they join. Then your gunna want to open and edit your config files so you can determine how many bots you want and if they should build or take teleporters etc. etc. In the folder tfc\addons\foxbot\ Is a documents folder going over the in's and out's of the bot. It answer's questions and what to hand edit. So basically if you installed correctly it's a pretty good chance you should have no problems with the bots. I do know of 1 bug though, but it dosen't keep you from playing with them at all ((It's really minor)).. Post back and let me know if it works and if not we'll go from there. PS, i'm allways around.. Sometimes slow, but i'm allways willing to help people with fox.
